Hello!

I bought a condo in Tahoe right when covid was starting before the zoomification of the world and entire Silicon Valley  wanting to move to the NV side of Tahoe.

Given that I can sell my condo and get a wire transfer for $400k more than I paid in less than 30 days, would you go to 100% in index funds of my non home equity ?

I have ibkr account which I can take margin loans or get a heloc to float between dividend payments.

Regarding selling: my interest , taxes, insurance is less than $1000 a month which I doubt I can replicate anywhere else.  No issues with living on my holdings today as 4% of my non home equity is above what I spend.

Anyone else thinking about the same question?

Sort of.  Strongly considering selling our CA rental.  We are renters in our current location and won't be buying any time soon, and the idea of losing the RE portion of our portfolio.  And I'm wondering what we'd do with the massive checked we'd get from selling, especially because it would likely be wanted for a down payment in 2-8 years.
