That question was asked of me from my boss when I quit to FIRE. She asked "what are you going to do with all of that time?". And she just thought it was a sabbatical, not FIRE.

On my recent 6 week trip, I frequently would ask aloud "what are you going to do with all of that time?" while doing some beautiful hikes in the Canadian Rockies and Moab. Just ask @NinetyFour , @aperture , and @Financial Ascensionist . We would all laugh about it.

A friend just visited from out of town. She knows I have a big birthday coming up. She just texted me that I looked totally relaxed when she saw me. I was never a really stressed out person, and she is not the first one to tell me I look more relaxed after FIRE. So now I am even more chill than pre-FIRE, if that is even possible...

We FIREd about a year ago and my husband was very concerned before retiring that he would have nothing to do. With 4 children at home, fun hobbies and lots of volunteer work, we love it all and often ask each other how we ever fit jobs into our lives before.
