Title: What type of Aussie are you? Meet the 7 new political tribes
Post by: limeandpepper on March 01, 2017, 01:17:15 PM: I found this quiz for Australians quite interesting. Try it and answer the poll! And feel free to elaborate in the comments. :)

Apparently the persona I most resemble is Ambitious Saver. Surprise, surprise. :p (Though actually, while I may be a saver, I don't know if I would call myself ambitious.) After that, the two personas I resemble are Activist Egalitarian and then Progressive Cosmopolitan.

I wonder if in this quiz the careerist types are clumped in with the savers in a 'breadhead' category which doesn't capture the frugals.

I'm not surprised really.

One thing I did notice though that might have implications for Australian politics in the future. Are any of those groups a core constituency for the ALP nowadays? Some of them you could identify as a core Coalition constituency or others a likely vote for the minor parties, but there's nothing that jumps out as a strong ALP group. What do you think?

Awwwwww, hugs for you! I'll admit there's a bit of a disillusioned pessimist in me too... usually when I look at property prices in Australia, lol.
