Came over for work, turned out at the last minute my schedule is pretty light on Saturday/Sunday. Given that I'm looking at free blocks of maybe 2-4 hours are there fun but mustachian things to do right here in the city? I spent some time on Molokai years and years ago, but otherwise have never been to Hawaii.

What are you in the mood for? I have ALL THE SUGGESTIONS. :)

The hike up to Diamond Head is close by.
Ala Moana mall is nice to walk round at, with a few eating options. If you like dim sum Jade Dynasty has a good one, and Genki sushi has the conveyor belt sushi but I like it.
My favorite sushi is Kenko Ya, but that might be too far away.
My favorite snorkeling is Hanauma Bay, there is probably a bus that goes out there, and there is a small fee to get in.
People say Perl Harbor is cool, but I've never been. There are buses that go out that way.
Remember to apply the sun screen liberally!

Are you comfortable renting a car for a day? Here are the things you can see along the north shore loop in one day: https://thehotflashpacker.com/oahu-north-shore-self-drive-trip/

Really depends on where your interests lie. So many hikes and beaches. Grab a biki bike and ride around. Ala Moana has the Shirokiya food court for some cheap beer and often has live music or some other entertainment for something chill. Pick up soccer, ultimate frisbee, and other outdoor sports at the parks.

I enjoyed the Diamond Head hike, and am happy I went to the Pearl Harbor memorial. I also thought the Bishop Museum was pretty excellent.

Oh yeah, another +1 for the Bishop Museum.
