It's been cool and rainy (with an occasional interlude of hail and snow, and, oh yeah, it was sunny once for 5 minutes) today, so we had fidget casserole. It's like a "fidget pie" apparently a traditional Shropshire thing, but without the fussiness of a crust -- our version is a giant baked dish of leeks, onions, potatoes, apples, and bits of ham, all cooked with sage in a cheesy sauce. I was taking a kid to a music lesson, and this was in the oven cooking itself, all ready to take out when we returned home.
Also salad, for healthiness.
