Hi all!
I'm considering a roadtrip starting in Stettin / Szczecin, Poland (arriving by ferry) and then taking about a week or a little more to travel to Latvia and then ferrying out from Riga or Ventspils. (There are also road trip parts on the other sides of the ferries)
Travel this way I would reasonably pass through Poland, Lituania and Latvia. Natural places to stay would at first glance be at least the capitals (Warszawa, Kaunas, Riga) but I'm open to other suggestions.
I would prefer to stay in the EU, and will probably not want to enter Belorus or Kaliningrad.
Does anyone have experience here?
- What to see and what to avoid?
- Any security issues to consider when travelling alone here by (obviously foreign) car?
- General hints?
(also, sorry to any natives of these countries if I massacre the spelling of your countrys names)
