Really why does what anyone think really matter?
Oh yeah, back to the issue at hand: So far I've lost roughly $70k USD during the Great Trump Dump of 2018.
You didn't lose anything, unless you bought at the high, then foolishly panic sold during the sell off.
On paper (because I haven't sold- it's important that people realize they don't lose or gain anything until they sell), I'm still up well over $1,000,000 since Trump took office.
It's kinda hard to sell that to investors as a "bad" thing about the Trump Presidency when they are still sitting on what, 30% gains even after the "sell off" that took us back to levels not seen since, um, December?
It might sell to idiots that don't invest and don't understand the markets, though.
But those folks are probably going to vote Dem anyway, right?
Didn't vote for Trump in '16, won't vote for him in '20, but this line of "reasoning" is ridiculous...
