I just saw this on Nomadic Matt's newsletter and also on the credit card website: Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Premier credit card with a $99 annual fee gives you 50,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 in the first three months. There was info on the companion pass, too.

Seems to bump up to 50K points 3 times per year - thanks for the heads up that the deal is back on! 

The companion pass thing is awesome.  Essentially, you get $3,000+ worth of airfare for the $168 in annual fees for the 2 cards + any fees you might encounter to get to $10,000 in spend.  Plus 50% off any flights you take with your companion once your 110,000 miles are spent.
