So yesterday around 9:00 Central time, my self adjusting clock suddenly jumped 4 hours. Being FIRE, I didn't really care 😊😊. It has not self corrected.
Was this just my clock, or did this happen to others? Did I really jump to the mid-Atlantic without knowing it? I don't think so, because I still see all my stuff.

I just checked, all 3 of our self adjusting clocks are exactly right. We are in Eastern time.
-
I figured if they all changed for everyone, there would have been some report on by now. Thanks for checking.
-
Mine didn't do anything. I think it's just an individual thing with your clock--it has gone berserk.
-
It happens sometimes. I know there were reset directions in the instructions. Is there any chance this is a low battery issue? Mine have gotten screwy with low battery before.
-
Put in a new battery, reset a few times and ok now. Strange that after the blip, it still kept perfect time, though off by 4 hours. Shrug.

I've got one that changes based on Daylight Saving's time. But it was made before Bush changed it, so it's no longer accurate. :(

Interesting metric mouse. Must be an outdated algorithm. The whole idea kind of amazes me that a $10.00 item could have the technology to receive daily signals to keep time, and the battery lasts for over a year.
Could make for an interesting April fools day prank, no?

I just replaced one that tried to be really smart and do time zones and daylight savings time. All it really did was make it impossible to change the time.

IKR? My 'self adjusting' one forces me to adjust it 3-4 times a year while it hops around. Actually more work than a normal 'dumb' clock. Looking forward to it burning out sometime during the next presidency.

Mine still going strong after battery replacement.
I know what you mean about some advancing technology.... just not worth it. When I replaced my gas stove 10 years age, there were
simply NONE available where the oven was not controlled by an electronic component. I consider the manual gas regulator to be virtually indestructible and easily replace even if it does wear out. I know I will most likely consider the eventual circuit board replacement its downfall and too expensive to replace when the time comes. Shrug.
At least I was able to save 40% due to a pea sized dent on the top. I LOVE scratch and dents that do not effect performance 😊😊😊.

Mine often goes from 6 to 12 after I see my wife get out of the shower.
Oh wait, you said clocks.

😊😊😊
Almost lost my coffee when reading and laughing.
Thank you for the image😊, although the wife is mine.

I'm not the only one who didn't see the "l" on the first pass.
