Pardon ignorance- how do I post a picture?

Hey peeps, could someone explain to me how to post a picture on the forum? I feel kinda stupid not knowing and not being able to figure it out. I have 2 pictures on dropbox that I would like to share on a thread here.

When you reply or generate a post there is a section under the text box saying Attachments and other options. You can attach pictures that way.

if you want it inside the post, put the url of the image inside img tags - you can paste in the URL, highlight it, and click the mona lisa if you like. Then it's in your post, like this:
