I'm with the "I don't get it" crowd. It's over-complicating a great design; adding weight,parts, and cost while offering little to no return in real performance other than "it looks cool." (btw, I don't even think it does ><) Then again, I'm also one who rolls his eyes every time he sees a jacked up pickup and thinks, "what a waste of a good truck, it can't do anything useful anymore." I'm admittedly boring.
