I'm looking for a list of commercials. Blasphemy, I know. But I want them to be positive, anti-consumerist, have a good message, etc. I guess kinda like PSAs, except not stupid (like most PSAs are).
Ideally they'd be 30-60 seconds long, though the occasional one that's over would be ok. A good example of one that'd be over would be something in the "Where the Hell is Matt" series. Few minutes long, but still somewhat short and has a good message.
Background: Building an HTPC. Looking into XMBC. One of the add-ons is something called "Pseudo TV Live". Lets you emulate live tv. Sounds stupid and brilliant at the same time. One of the features is the ability to have commercials play.
Now, we cut cable/satellite a long time ago. We still watch OTA programming (and Netflix). I don't like subjecting my kids to some of the programming, and commercials even less so. But if I could emulate the experience, with positive commercials instead of "buy this new toy!"....
