Hi, I've read that for a non resident to buy ETF one good choice might be ETFs that is run by Irish funds , a very simple question since I am really new. So how do I buy them? Just look for the ETF in Irish Stock Exchange?
Thanks :)

this depends, mostly on witholding taxation. see the two pages
https://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/Nonresident_alien_with_no_US_tax_treaty_%26_Irish_ETFs#cite_note-17
and
http://www.turtleinvestor.net/get-to-know-dividend-withholding-tax/

if you are really new, then there should be other stuff for you to start reading up. fund domiciles matter little compared to things like investment horizon, risk tolerance level, asset allocation. for these things, get started here:
https://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/Getting_started
however if you want details on the domile topic:
-IE based funds generally have igher TERs that US based counter parts (i.e. VWRD vs. VTI)
-if you country has no tax treaty with US, IE based funds become more attractive by a 15% witholding tax advantage (IE
has
a tax treaty and does not witholt itself taxes). for the switzerland point of view, look at
https://forum.mustachianpost.com/t/tax-optimisation-for-etf-investing/67?u=nugget
and replace the tax treaty numbers with those of your country.
make up your mind on the witholding taxes and juristiction.
>>So how do I buy them?
through
any
broker of your choice
>>Just look for the ETF in Irish Stock Exchange?
justetf.com gets you startet for non-US funds. together with
https://investor.vanguard.com/etf/
you should find most of what you ever want to invest in.
