I wasn't sure where to put this so hopefully here is okay...

A co-worker turned me onto Bing Rewards (ref-link, noref-link) a month or so back and I was quickly hooked by the allure of free stuff.
For those who don't know about this, Microsoft is offering a rewards program for users who search on Bing.  You get points for doing up to 30 daily searches and can exchange the collected points for rewards (gift cards, raffles, discounts etc).

At the same time, I like to work smart, not hard, so I started finding myself wondering if there was a way to do the searches faster or automated.  That is when I found Pogocheats Bing Reward Bot. It will automate the entire search process for you.
  • You just need to make sure you are logged into Bing
  • Go to the Pogocheats Bing Reward Bot
  • Put in the number of searches you want to complete. (Remember it takes 3 searches to earn 1 point)
  • I recommend reducing search time to 3-5 seconds.  It makes things go MUCH faster.
  • Press "Start Searching"
I can now do all my searches with a single mouse click. Awesssomme.

Trying to be even smarter about this, I wondered how I could maximize my return.  That is when I discovered in the TOS that they allow for up to 5 accounts per house hold.  Signing up for 4 more accounts (using my original as a referral) I netted myself 2000 extra points and a daily extra of 100 points divided between the 4 other accounts.

Doing the math, I calculated how much I could earn and get rewarded;
1 account = 25+ points a day (doing pc and mobile searches using bot)
500 points = $5 Amazon Giftcard
so with 5 accounts, it would take me 20 days to earn a $25 dollar gift card.
That's about 5 minutes a day (1 minute to run bot per account), and it doesn't even include the bonus points you get!

UPDATE:
Here are some extra tips on things I've noticed that have a huge impact after hitting gold status.

Your points per day earning potential increases to 40 (30 desktop, 10 mobile)! that's huge. In combination with the discount on prizes, this essentially reduces the time it takes to earn a $5 gift card on a single account to 11 days!!!

Some might think the task of getting to the 700 points to earn Gold status is daunting, but all you need to do is think it through.
  • Get yourself to Silver, by then you should have 250 points with the bonus they provide you.
  • Start another account you've referred from your first and get it to 200 points.

That new account will earn 50 bonus points, and your first account will earn 500 pushing you into Gold. So you do the work to earn two hundred (second account), and earn an extra 550 points combined across both accounts AND Gold status.

Here is extra tip my brother discovered.  You can do mobile searches on your desktop or desktop searches on your mobile!
The difference is in the link that is loaded for the PogoCheat Bing Rewards Bot.

If you want to do Mobile searches on your desktop use this link
http://www.pogocheats.net/bing-rewards-bot/mobile/

It is the link that loads when you go to the reward bot on your mobile phone.  To load the desktop version on your phone, just remove the word "mobile" from the URL in the browser after it initially loads and it should redirect you to the normal desktop search version.

Anyways, I wanted to share this setup I discovered to try and help out some fellow freebie lovers.  I love to save, and if I can get Amazon swag or free months of Hulu then I'm down with that!

Happy Stashing :)

Thanks! What I had been doing so far is just middle clicking the "popular" boxes that are at the bottom of the main page. This opens in a new tab, click 30 times wait a few seconds for them to load and close the browser. It was fast but this is faster.

Also you can get 10 points for mobile searches. Using the bing app on iphone you tap the 4 squares icon on the bottom middle and itll bring up a box where it scrolls through those popular searches. Just tap the icon then the searches over and over and it'll open in new windows and you can get that extra 10 points in about as many seconds.

that is a nice shortcut to do. This is slightly better cuz of the autosearch feature. Glad you can find a use out of it.

I wonder, can you do all of that with just one computer and a phone, or you would 5 different computers and 5 different phones?

How long have you been doing that?  As far as I know, they sometimes recognize cheaters and block their accounts. However, just by doing that you can get some money with very little effort!

You can do it with one computer by using multiple browsers (or Chrome profiles).  However, I think you would need to use separate mobile devices though, unless you don't mind having to log out and log in again switching between accounts.

I also found that Bing Reward Bot stopped working, so I switched to PogoCheats.

Check out my step-by-step guide on how to set this up an automated Bing Rewards system for yourself...

Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to make this more streamlined.  Thanks!

The bing reward bot I posted above is Pogocheat. Love it!  Running it right now in another tab.

An extra tip my brother discovered and told me about.  You can do mobile searches on your desktop or desktop searches on your mobile!
The difference is in the link that is loaded.

If you want to do Mobile searches on your desktop use this link

Nate, I understand it's your blog, and you can do what you want with it, but the information it provides isn't new to what has been posted here and it forces visitors to use your referral link if they are interested.  That might be cool for outside the MMM forums, but it comes off as a bit self advertising, especially since it is your first post here...

My goal in posting was to share the information with friends here, if anyone was willing to use my referral link with full disclosure of what it was before hand that would be great, but otherwise they could be free to signup without pressure using the other link I provided.

In Nate's defense, he gave me a new piece of information (ReSearch with Bing) that wasn't in your post or in the Bing Rewards Referral link thread, which also has the pogocheats link. I guess if you use an iphone or windows phone, that's not useful info for you, but as an android-lover, I did find it useful, especially because I have found that the pogocheats mobile site has been less-than-reliable, leading me to have to use it several times before all the searches register and I get all 10 mobile searches.

Must have missed that while skimming through.  Thanks for the input.  There is a Bings Rewards referral thread now???  I need to come back to Off-Topic a bit more often I think :P

Yeah, sorry, probably should have posted it in my earlier reply. It's here: http://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/reader-recommendations/bing-get-~$5-a-month-to-browse-the-internet/

I guess technically it's not a referral thread (I was remembering it actually being called "Bing Referral Thread"), but it's been used like that for months now.
