It reads exactly like pretty much all the recommendations MMM gives, to include biking to work... Its a great article in that it's very positive towards early retirement, giving a roadmap, and even some of the (few) comments to date seem supportive (~50% are still haters though).

"1 million is $20'000 a year for 50 years, they can't live off that" <-- wow
"they are not really retired, they are making money from clickbait articles like this one"
"why would you live like a bum just to amass money? Live a little"
... the usual crowd, it seems :)

yeah i dont read comments on those it makes me angry. the 10% are the MMM and ERE readers.
