Title is misleading as no one on these boards would call $2MM broke. A billionaire who has given away all but ~$2MM to charity over the past 40 decades while living simply the entire time.

"Over the last four decades, Feeney has donated more than $8 billion..."

Over 40 decades?  Wow, that's a pretty good lifespan! :P

Seriously, though, I just heard about this guy not too long ago.  That's a pretty awesome legacy to leave behind.

I spent some time in Belfast, Northern Ireland working with one of the programs he helped fund.

One of the reasons why "the Troubles" haven't had a resurgence in 20 years is that people have dedicated their lives (and millions of dollars from Atlantic/him) to the cause.

Turns out you really can change the world with hard work, dedication, and resources.  Gotta love it.
