Title: Sweden has listed their country on AirBnB
Post by: gaja on May 31, 2017, 12:17:18 PM
Nice little video to explain the Right to Roam act: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6671CL5fFg

We have the same thing in Norway - it is really nice to be able to walk and camp (almost) everywhere you want.

While I wish the US had the right to roam, we certainly make out pretty well with federal lands. For the most part, you can camp for free for up to 14 days on National Forest Service or Bureau of Land Management lands. Unfortunately the lands are generally far away from where most of the people are.

I'm a big fan of http://freecampsites.net for good sites.

That video was great!

We stayed in sweden a while back for 2 months.  Loved it so much, we're going back for a few months next summer as well.

Lovely country.

Hopefully more countries follow suit. :)

@CargoBiker - your bikes are so cool! They are on my list once kids get in the picture! Saw a couple in action at one of our CicLAvia events here in LA.

Reach out down the line if you ever have any questions.  By the time you have kids, we'll have multiple models, color options, accessories, component sets, that sort of thing.
