Interesting article. I have found that it is possible for the body to adapt to colder temps. We keep the thermostat at a balmy 68 when we're home in the winter. Half the time, my kids run around in their skivvies. In the late evenings, the thermostat goes down to 62, and I have a tendency to put on some fuzzy socks and a sweatshirt. Maybe I should wait out the adjustment and deal with being cold. MIL is always complaining that it's cold in our house, and pleads with the kids to put clothes on. I try to explain to her that they're used to it and they (obviously) don't feel cold!
