reading into happiness research
« on: April 12, 2013, 02:15:56 AM »
http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/04/10/happiness-beyond-the-data/?src=me

Delves into the meaning of the economic, philosophic, and sociological data that questions the quest for happiness via stuff. Hedonic adaptation, the quandary about what constitues "enough", Voltaire's Candide and the thorny issue of boredom...

Good stuff.

It helps to see Mustachian philosophy has a basis in Data!

Happiness isn't a quest per se, it's a process. Amen to that.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
