Not everything lines up with the pure badassity of mustacianism, but for my generation that is just now realizing how much trouble we're in, there's some excellent advice.

That is a really good article. No, it's not RE focused, but not everyone is interested in RE.

Front-loading the kids works better for shifting into or out of grad school, and your career is less likely to punish you for a spotty work record early in life, both in earnings and in your ability to get back on the ramp later. It’s a lot easier to get a spot where you left off if you left off lower down the pole."

Recent studies have shown that people who progress before 30 are the ones who end up with a higher salary. Others start to have earnings reduced once they reach 40. If you put this off to have babies, you probably won't end up reaching the career you may want.
