Definitely not.

I regret quite a few choices I have made in my life that concern buying stuff. Or selling stuff too early.

I am happy to have seen the light now. From now on we think much more critically at whether it is worth buying and look for at second hand stuff.

But there is nothing to be done apart choices we made in the past. We can only improve what we do from now on.

Thankfully, I never became a big consumer of material things. The last several years our only Amazon order has been gifts at Christmas. I can probably count the yearly trips to stores where I but stuff besides "maintenance" things on one hand. I never tried to avoid it; I suppose I just haven't become attracted to it. This behavior was definitely a boon to us in our pursuit of financial independence because I didn't have bad habits to break.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
