I went to Stanford with him -- we never met, but he had this reputation around campus as an incredibly humble, nonchalant guy. He'd always deflect hero-worship that seems to come with the job (see eg Johnny Manziel). I've got to believe this is playing a role.

This is consistent with other reports of him still using an old flip phone. Although I am not a Colts fan, everything I have heard about this guy outside of football really makes me like him.
