While the title ("One Big Advantage of Retiring") doesn't fit the article at all, the article points out the folly of long commutes.

I think most people agree long commutes are a waste.  But to hammer the point home the article has a link to a commuting cost calculator: http://www.icommutesd.com/commuters/calculator.aspx
