Ok, he's probably not mustachian with that private jet and yacht, but found it funny that the 2nd-highest paid athlete on the planet last year is notorious for being fugal (cheap?) with his money.   Examples include low tips, not paying for Pandora premium, only using his phone when connected to wi-fi, and not paying for apps on his phone.

Meh, paying low tips isn't Mustachian, it's crossing the line to being a cheapskate.

Didn't know the other stuff about him though, pretty neat I suppose.

Agree.  He's been called out (and apparently made it right) on social media for tips that have been <10%.  Don't follow him a bunch so I have no idea if this is a regularly occurring thing or not, just that it got mentioned in the article.

The low tips is not MMM. That is being cheap.

"a $10 tip on an $800 bill"

I've said before, I'm not a fan of "tip inflation" - rising from 10 to 15 and now 20%.

But this is ridiculous.

A guy who makes close to $100,000,000.00 a year leaves a $10 tip (1.25%) to the working class wait staff?

That isn't frugal or mustachian, that's just being an a-hole.
