Great! We need to remember this for all those threads where people say the opposite.

Didn't look like to me that the authors even looked at people younger than 62.

Why would they? Who could possibly retire earlier than 62? That's unheard of! You'd have to save more than 10% of your salary to do that!

Holy shit, you're 23?

I remember when people weren't taking your posts seriously because you were 19.

Time flies.
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.

Now they're not taking my posts seriously because I'm 23.

That's nothing. I remember back when your post count was in the single digits. :O

I wore an onion on my belt.  It was the style at the time.

It does suck to be at work from 8-5 M-F. Having control over your own time is awesome.  I recently read that more retirees are doing what my hubby & I are doing which is p.t. consulting in their field because they enjoy it.

23?  I got underwear older than that.

Seriously.  I'm a cheap, er, frugal guy.  I've got some really old underwear.

I know, TMI...

I may well have to steal that.

I'm 22, and I have a T-shirt that's literally older than I am.  It's a school of architecture shirt that my dad bought when he was in college, which would make it at least 33 years old.  It's been worn pretty thin, and has a small hole in the back of it, but I'll be damned if it isn't the most comfortable shirt I own (and I'm not even an architect).
