So, we all know MMM can fall flat with the spouses/friends who tend to be more dreamers/feelers then logical engineer types.
Scott Dinsmore just posted an awesome post that might speak to these folks.

Redefining Your “Rich”: The 5-Step Formula to Calculate How Much Money You Need & Want. It is a great place to start because it takes a lot of mustachian principals and softens them and makes them accessible and applicable (includes action steps!) to those who are more right-brained thinkers.

It will spark some good discussions and your "Big Dream" could be ER. Anyways it is a soft intro to get your creative spouse/friend to at least start thinking about money/budgeting/forward planning.
