Last ten things I bought: fleece leggings, dog medication, 6-pack of beer, gas, Halloween costume for dog, hair color, groceries, earrings (technically free from return and switch, but I had to pay for shipping), gas, candy for school.

Definitely could do better myself, but I did have to go back to the beginning of October before I got to ten, so I'll give myself that credit.

Being mustachian I can't remember - I went to the supermarket a week ago, and I got gas the week before....

Ummm, heapdhones for my husband's business (he lost the last pair), a vacuum, pasta, body wash, hair gel, Thai takeout (my in-laws stayed with us for a week and we treated), a bushel of apples, baby rice cereal, some new clothing, Starbucks for my mother because she drove me back to NYC at 5 am. I'm pretty okay with that list.

All 10 of mine are Christmas gifts. I'm doing a really good job with thoughtful gifts and using coupons so I don't feel too bad about it. We are never going to get out of Christmas gifts altogether, although we do only buy for immediate family and not each other.

 Can of queso, bag of tortilla chips, can of Rotel,  axle nut socket,  cheap Chinese takeout (not sorry),  gasoline, and that takes us back to last weekend's grocery shop, which I can't produce completely from memory.

Same here.  I bought minutes for my Tracfone this morning.  I bought a shirt (as part of a required uniform) last week.  Hmmm...  Haven't put gas in either car in weeks.  I did go crazy and buy lunch instead of packing one day last week.

cheese, other cheese, frozen fish, butter, Leberkäse.
Oh yes, I was to ALDI too so chips, ice, chocolate (funny that I mostly buy sweet stuff there), tomatos. Other green stuff I had something left from last weeks Friday. Reminds me, the last pear must be used today, it gets squishy. Lies hard a week and goes runny in 2 days O.o

Do multiple items in one shopping trip count as one or more?  I did my weekly grocery shopping yesterday, so I got more than 10 items, but I can't think of much I've bought outside of groceries (weekly) or gas (every few weeks depending on my car vs DH's).

For less than $100 I got:
whole boneless pork loin
4 chicken leg quarters
2 lbs ground turkey
pack of hot dogs
2 dozen eggs
3 gal milk
2 cartons of cottage cheese
5 boxes of cereal
large canister of oatmeal
2 boxes of granola/nutty bars
cookies
tortilla chips
pretzels
3 bags of chocolate chips
lb of walnuts
2 jars of peanuts
5 lbs flour
head of lettuce
3 bags of carrots
margarine
3 bags of apples
2 hands of bananas
frozen OJ
4 cans of pasta sauce
2 boxes of tissues
cat litter

I'm sure I've forgotten something, but that's the majority of it.

Hmm, let's see, hadn't bought any clothes in a long time, so went shopping for some this weekend:

1 long sleeve lightweight baselayer (from EMS using the $20 Rewards coupon they sent me)
2 flannel shirts (Old Navy)
2 pairs of polypro boxers (40% off at Old Navy)
1 pair of khakis (Banana Republic -- used gift certificate from last Christmas)
1 wool sweater (same)
Beer and wings at local tavern (not just any beer, but Lawson's Finest Liquids' Sip of Sunshine IPA on tap!)
Gas
Coffee and a bag of Frito's (was tired as shit driving home from climbing last night, needed the caffeine; also craved salt from the day's exertion)

8. filled the gas tank on the car
9. a Halloween decoration (did the teal pumpkin thing)
10. refilled my public transit fare card

That covers 11 days, so I guess I purchase slightly less than 1 item per day.

Otherwise... the items on my grocery list (most of it either on-sale or seasonal with the only "processed" item being dried pasta...), a warmer sweater (red-and-black plaid, fits super well, and 14$), and multiple yards of fabric, about 1/3 of which has already been sewn up into a bedskirt, a (warm) tank top to wear under my work blazers, and some cloth napkins.
