This family decided to go one year without buying anything that isn't an absolute necessity. Not with the goal of early retirement in mind, but more to escape consumerism and focus more on family. Certainly goals many mustachians can appreciate!

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I do much better not buying stuff for myself than I do for my kids.
