Budgeting Like a Billionaire
« on: June 30, 2014, 10:00:04 AM »
Debt free, young and working your way up in the world?  Perhaps this fellow might have some advice that will profit you.  Or not.  Either way it's an interesting peek into the thoughts of a self made Billionaire.  While not strictly mustachian, he does believe in living well below your means, and investing, but not just money.

This is a handy article. I was surprised by the 30% set aside for housing and food. I think even MMM's expenses were above that in the categories, but it definitely seems like an easy rule of thumb to set up. That said, there are probably ways to cut this down even further, especially the portion for buying books/education.
