Insightful article about the clownishness of consumerism:

While sad that the author's father passed away, this part stood out to me the most:

"I threw away a normal lifetime’s worth of accumulation. Time, money, and effort had been heavily invested in getting all of this stuff — only to be disposed of with great difficulty."

Really makes you question which would you rather have more of, "stuff" or time?
