Title: A consumeristic description of the perfect summer

http://www.foxbusiness.com/features/2016/06/09/this-is-how-much-perfect-american-summer-costs.html

I cannot imagine more money than the average household in a year earns is required for 25% of the year.

Who takes 2 overseas trips? I feel like the act of flying back and forth 2 times in one summer is closer to work than vacation. Why wouldn't you just stay longer and skip a plane flight?

None of the other things mentioned (barbeques, restaurant dinners, movie trips, and beach trips) need to be done expensively. This is a poorly disguised Groupon advertisement.

If you are not experiencing the "Perfect American Summer" then obviously you are not a Perfect American. LOL  Imagine the effect on the nation's GDP if each and every American household suddenly shelled out 50 grand on consumption in one season, though!

The perfect American summer is to leave America . . . twice?
