If you're bumped from a plane flight, ask for cash.  Woman who did this got 10k voucher instead of $650...

Wow, I probably would have been fine with the initial offer of $2k.  I don't see how $650 cash can be worse for United than a $10k voucher unless the voucher isn't likely to be redeemed.
