Wanted: Room in the Georgetown/Lexington KY Area
« on: June 26, 2012, 07:20:38 AM »
I'll be moving to the Lexington/Georgetown area this August for an internship with Toyota and am starting to look for a place to live. I'm looking for a small room, preferably unfurnished. I will not have a car, so I won't need a parking space. I do, however have 2 nice bicycles that I will be bringing with me, which I would like to keep indoors or, at the very least, in a garage. Since I'll be commuting exclusively by bicycle, I'd like to live as close as possible to work. 5 miles or less is ideal (so I can walk or skate, if I ever feel like it), and I really don't want to live further than 10 miles away (the furthest I'll want to cycle in the winter). I am a nonsmoker, love dogs and cats (as long as they're friendly and well-behaved), don't party, and am an overall chill Mustachian dude who will respect both you and your home. I need to move in on or before August 1, and will move out the weekend of December 15. If you have a spare room in your house and would like an easy way to supplement your income, please let me know!

Thanks,
Russ

I've just recently moved to the Lexington area as well, and have been thinking of buying a place to live and rent out a room in, but it's very unlikely that would happen before August, and it would be somewhere in Lexington.  I think you'll probably have to find something in Georgetown, most places in Lexington area at least 12 miles away.  However, if anything does happen in time I will be sure to send you a PM.

Otherwise though, good luck with finding a place, there were tons of opportunities available in Lexington when I was searching so you should be able to find something affordable on Craigslist.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
