Hi, my wife and I are currently on the final stages of building our own tiny house. We are looking for a spot to park as close to Vandenberg Air Force Base as possible. I have a construction job on base that currently is scheduled until October, but should get extended until spring next year. We are looking to move the tiny house down at the end of June. For hookups, we need water and electrical (30/50A is preferable, but a regular 15A outlet will do in a pinch). Our Tiny house is 28' long, 8.5' wide and just under 13.5' tall. We are well insulated, all our lights are LED and the high draw appliances (like stove and dryer) are on propane, so we shouldn't use much electricity. We have a composting toilet, which eliminated our black water. It would still be nice to have the ability to hook up to sewer for grey water, but not strictly necessary. We can take care of that either with portable tanks or filtration. My wife is taking college classes online, so if there is WiFi we can use, that would be helpful. If not, we'll work that out some other way. We also would need a place to park our car, and if there was a place to keep our bikes, that would be helpful.

If you have some property that we would be able to park on, or know someone who does, message me and we can discuss rent. If you need pictures or any additional information, let me know.

Huh.  clicked on this b/c I was wondering where exactly you were looking to be  - never would have considered Vandenberg Air Force Base to still be in Central California, as it's an hour south of San Luis Obispo. Of course people from San Diego would probably say it's central California...
Maybe you'd get more traffic if you are more specific in your title?
G'luck.

Everyone in this area seems says that its is called central coast. I figured if the locals call it that, I'd be more likely to find someone local by calling it that.

I'm currently in Santa Maria, California, but I'm looking for anything around Vandenberg AFB. I'm willing to drive a little ways to get to work if the price is right. I would prefer to be closer then 40 miles to Vandenberg, but cost/convenience is something you always have to weight.

This is what is considered central coast https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Coast_(California)
