« on: September 23, 2013, 10:26:39 AM »
Any advice on where to look?  DH found a craigslist apartment for $60/day...  We don't think they're legit...  "Wire Funds Immediately"  No business name on V.M, nobody answers....  no contact or name on post.

We want to stay in town but don't know where to start.  Would like to spend less than $80/night.  Plese help!

What do you mean by "in/near"? On the train lines? Downtown/Cambridge area, or more like Newton or North shore or south shore? I'm in the metrowest area and knowing where you're aiming for could help.

OK so, visiting a friend that lives in Watham MA.   We aren't renting a car but the friend will pick us up and drop us off as needed.   We are not able to stay with the friend while we are in town.   We would like to be somewhere in the city or towards Watham, and would like to be close to transportation to get to the city.

I looked on AirBNB and it looks like some are pretty expensive.  I am just not sure of what would be best.  :-)

Bedford is about 8 miles from there. They might have cheaper places, and it's right off 95 as well.

AirBnB.

We live in East Cambridge right across from the Science Museum and know of a number of folks who AirBnB for very reasonable rates near us ($60-$100). And that would be prime for transportation and walking, too. And easy to get to with car - right off of 93. Additionally, you can check the site for Newton and Watertown availability - they're very near Waltham!

We'd offer, but sadly we're still prepping our place for AirBnB participation and don't have it complete yet! :(
