So far, this site seems okay. They can't link a couple of my credit cards, but that's a problem with Mint with some cards too. I like that they break down index fund investments by category and display that to you in a chart, so you know what portions are domestic stocks, foreign stocks, bonds, cash, etc. Mint doesn't do that.

You don't get the gift card until you link at least one account.

I just got my gift card about 24 hours after signing up and linking accounts. Honestly, I like Personal Capital better than Mint. It is compatible with a lot more accounts and it offers more detailed charts and graphs. I still haven't received my own referral link, though.

Classify those expenses as a transfer and they will not show up against your spending.

I just saw this thread. I signed up a couple months back. PC emailed me my referral link. A friend used it and linked an account. And then we both got email notifications about the gift cards. So it's working.

I am not sure, I signed up via alert from Mad Fientist, late last year. I've ignored their calls for my free advice session. But I got the referral link at the top, which I posted here within a day or two. I could check the dates, my guess is it was less than or about 2 months after joining that i got my referral link via email. You coul contact them and ask, but you might get more contacts from them to advise you...

I think they all came around the same time, but I'm not certain how they chose who got the codes. I got mine in an email from Personal Capital on Jan 22 with the subject "Get $10 For Each Friend You Refer"

i signed up under ascZend, a few days ago. It took several days to get my amazon gc. and then it took another couple days for them to respond and tell me how to get my own referral code.

It is for the app. You download the app and link an account and we both get a gc for 10$
Once you have the app you can also access your account online.

ETA: once you link your accounts, to get your referral code, go into the app you find the Refer A Friend link in the menu beneath Investment Checkup

I know it is only $10, but have you tried contacting them? Have you checked your spam/junk folder in email?

they do have a help form. there are many complaints about not getting the gc. some responses say there is a backlog. I did get mine after several days but I also did send in the help form. Got a response AFTER I got the gc.

I assumed the GC was automated, np but maybe this is a (semi) manual process (at least behind the scenes. I hope everyone gets their card, sooner rather than later.
