Live in Tampa area cannot get an IT job. It has been eight months. Looking for either remote or on site work. I have 15 years experience. VMWare. Citrix, Cisco experience, etc...any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello.   I retired last summer.

I started a small IT Consulting business to do contracting on 1099.  Im the sole employee and have actually way too much work.  Im up in NY state but I apply for jobs all over the North East.

Have you applied for contracts or just for full time work?  (I apply for both, even though I only want to do part time contracts....sometimes it gets me a meeting with the hiring manager and that way they have me in mind for future contract work.)

How many jobs per day are you applying for?  (I would do 10 per day when actively looking).

How far in the hiring process do you get before they decide against you?   (If I always get cut out at the same spot in the process, I know where to make adjustments to my tactics....)

Are you prior military or have a clearance (Secret or Above, current or lapsed)?
If yes, PM me. I'm local. Let me know if you want to work in the 33621.
