Greetings mustachians! My wife and I will be traveling to Asheville, NC next spring (more specifically, between March 29 and April 4 of 2020. We are looking for a place to stay and I thought I would inquire within this community.

A couple of things to note. I am your stereotypical middle school teacher slash general contractor. My wife and I would love to do activities such as hiking and hitting the breweries during the evenings; however, she works remote and will be busy between the hours of 9-5. This leaves me with a lot of free time to cope with and an inability to remain unproductive. That being said, I would love to help you with the home, rental, or outdoor project. I could also of course provide money if your project list is not bursting at the seams. Either way, I would love to chat if you think this arrangement might work.

Oh yes, though I may get face-punched for this...I will be traveling with a dog. He is house trained and will be crated whenever we leave the premise.

Any takers?

I could accommodate you if you wander over to Fayetteville, NC.   Lots of projects to choose from!

Best of luck on your Asheville search.

I stayed at an affordable hostel in downtown Asheville a few years back.   Nothing fancy but it was inexpensive, clean and convenient.  There is a parking lot a couple buildings away that was pretty cheap, too.
