Title: Frugal Housing in Washington DC or Maryland?

I'm an aspiring MMM female that is in the middle of purchasing my MMM dream, an affordable house with a legal, rent-able basement. This has put me in between leases and my CL perusing hasn't landed me the right place.

Any DC/MD MMM-ers have any ideas on how I can live and save while in between? Anyone with a reasonable friend that could make a few bucks over the summer or needs pet sitting?

 I have a small dog and work full time in the CP area.

Hope I'm not too late.

Check Airbnb..  We have used it many times for people we hire / relocate.  There are many places all over to share a room, basement, sometimes have the place all to yourself.
