FreedomPop Freedom Friends
« on: May 09, 2015, 08:12:56 AM »
Are there any fellow Mustachians that use FreedomPop, and would like to be Freedom Friends ?

It gains you an extra 50meg per month per person you "friend," up to a total of 500meg.

I've set this up with a couple of people and it looks like the extra data rolls over each month, from what I can see.

If there is another thread for this already please let me know, I searched and Bing'd for it, but couldn't find it.

If anyone's interested please post a reply or PM. Thanks!

It doesn't "roll over" but the friends stay permanent and you get that bonus every month.

Whenever I sign up a new freedompop device (have... 4? right now), I just google for the slickdeals freedompop referral thread, cut and paste emails from the last few dozen people to post, and wait a day or two, and hit well above the limit (in case a few unfriend me or whatever).

Worth spending 5 minutes one time for.

I just bought a FP hotspot.  Haven't looked into how the whole friends thing works.  But if it gives both of us extra free data I am game.  Let me know what we need to do and I will start looking into it as well.

You need to trade email addresses and put it in when you're logged in, to your "Freedom Friends" part.

Like I said above, just grabbing a bunch of emails from the latest posts here (because the old posts people may not log in to their FP account and see it) and adding them is the quickest way to do it: https://slickdeals.net/f/5276432-freedompop-friends?page=197

That's the last page as of this posting, but it won't be soon, so just go to the last few pages (ignore the wiki that immediately goes out of date) and cut and paste the last few dozen people posting their email.  No need to post yours.

Hi IamDavin, if you want to swap go ahead and send me a freedompop invite from your account (invite friends by email)

I have two accounts so you'd get 50meg each for those. vw412fan at gmail dot com, and bjorniphone5 at outlook dot com.

Thanks in advance!
