Our wild butternut trees have produced hundreds of nuts. Apparently they are yummy.
I looked up how to get the meats out, and it looks labour intensive.
Definitely the kind of thing I'd intend to get around to, but never actually get around to.
If anyone wants to collect them and take them away, there are yours, in trade for some amount of cracked nuts, or whatever you see fit (try cracking them first before making rash decisions on their value).
