Best way to package collectible?
« on: January 01, 2017, 10:23:14 PM »
I have an 8x10 autographed photo of a Star Trek actor with an authenticity certificate that I'm looking to sell. Presently it is in a matted frame with the certificate taped to the back.  I'm looking to put it up on E-Bay. If I get a buyer, what is the best way to mail it?  Do I keep it in the frame and bubble wrap it, or take it apart and box it up in some other fashion?

Is the certificate visible currently, without removing it from the frame? If so, I'd leave it as is and ship it securely bubble-wrapped in the frame. The less you touch it, the better.

I agree with Miss Piggy and watch a YouTube video on "How to package glass for shipping for eBay" and also insure it.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
