The Gervais Principle by Ventakesh Rao
« on: April 06, 2017, 10:23:26 AM »
This is a book but it can be read straight from the web , more of a detailed essay , but no less compelling a read.
It is a study on how a firm starts ,develops and eventualy dies ,often with a phoenix like return from the ashes .
The actual reference in the book  is of  "the american office "  T.V. show and how that is a pretty good example of the mcleod lifecycle of a business.
All that aside it's a good read if you enjoyed said T.V. show and wondered why it was so intangibly addictive , as i did.
 Enjoy.
