Looks like Predictably Irrational's gonna take it. Let's hope the library has it.

Let's run the poll for another day or two just to be sure.

Nice work!  I see how you are trying to swing the vote with your Predicatble Irrational mind control.

Nicely played

Let's run the poll for another day or two just to be sure.

I set it to roll through the 25th to give anyone about a week or order the book (either used to own a copy, or through their library system), but one could order it now.

I went ahead and got an eBook copy today, deciding I'll read it either way.

I like this poll format, makes it easy to see which books people are/aren't interested in, rather than trying to force them to decide just their very top book in the list.

Seriously, when he posted that and I looked, it was only a single vote ahead.  Now it's 5.

Hopefully that psychological trick is covered in the book. ;)

I am putting library holds on as many of these as possible. Sadly, my library doesn't carry some of these.

There should be inter library loan. I don't live in a big city like D.C. but even I have that option.

Thanks matchewed, I'll investigate that if necessary. Fortunately my library does have the book that is currently in the lead, so if Predictably Irrational does win I will be fine.

With the voting ending, it looks like Predictably Irrational takes it.

I've made it through the "Note to Readers" (at the beginning of the revised edition) and hope to make it through the Introduction today.  ;)

Grant, want to start a new thread?

Everyone, check your libraries!  :D

I'm the first person in line on the library's waiting list for "Predictably Irrational" so I look forward to starting it soon. However, in the meantime, I have started reading "The Righteous Mind" and I am loving it! I typically read fiction, and am particularly surprised by how engaged I am by this non-fiction book. So just a shout out to say thanks for the nudge.
