So what sort of topic should we choose our next poll on? Pop psychology/consumer behavior? Finance/investing? Business? Philosophy?

I've been reading a lot of behavioral economics books lately. I could really go for something lighter. Kind of like The Millionaire Next Door or Leo Babauta style living-with-only-the-essential type deal.
I've been reading the Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell recently. Really interesting (now I just have to go search and see if ye've already discussed it.
Another suggestion would be something by Dervla Murphy. I somehow missed out on her existence completely until reading an article in the Irish Times the other day about this 82-year-old who, in 1963, cycled from Ireland to India. Most of the first book, Full Tilt, seems to concentrate on her time in Pakistan and Afghanistan and goodreads reviews are mixed but to me, it sounds like she could definitely win a place as a badass Mustachian before there were Mustachians. :)
