My daughter wanted to make some money so I came up with a few ideas...one of which is collecting cans to sell to the metal recycling places.
We're debating whether we want to make it easy for the kids and have them ask to set up trashcans in a couple bars/restaurants. We've got friends saving them for us too.
But really just posting because i'm a bit amazed....i did a couple of errands after dropping the kids at school and rode back and forth down the streets in our 'hood on the way home....i picked up 60 cans in about an hour. Sometimes living in the mustachian 'hoods pays off in more ways than one. For the kids, it's paying off in tall boy litter.
