How to ensure diapers you are gifted are returnable?
« on: February 26, 2017, 06:55:07 PM »
Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of doing a diapers and books baby shower but how do I ensure that all the diapers we get can be exchanged for different sizes or returned? Thanks!

Most stores are good about letting you exchange diapers for a different size.  You just need to get the same brand and type.  I stock piled diapers when I found good deals.  I've never had a problem exchanging for a different size.

Would I be able to return/exchange on Amazon if someone else bought it?

Target registries allow you to register for diapers - you can do by whatever size. They also take returns without receipts for the same department. You could also register for gift cards there.

Another option (that might look tacky on a show invite) would be to assign sizes by last letter name or something. This is where a helpful hostess friend could figure out logistics.

Walmart (and maybe other stores) will give you store credit if you don't have a receipt as long as they carry the product.
