What do you think about those doom's day talk?
« on: July 12, 2012, 12:46:30 PM »
All of these dooms day talk is getting the best of me...
Since a lot of you here are smarty pants yourselves and have more knowledge than me in this economical topic, I want to hear what you have to say.

So basically the doomers are saying that the worst has yet to come. We have been printing money to prop up the stock market. Gov debt is out of control and when all the parties are over, we are looking at 2nd great depression that makes 2008 a walk in the park..

I thought you wrote "boomers," which would have made sense.  I think the HS Dent theory of demographics is the most logical... there are less people entering their "prime spending year" than there were during the baby boomer years.  Ergo, there will be less economy happening.  It seems inevitable.
