It's still early enough to move dates if you want to suggest something else. I didn't get any feedback in the last event thread when I posted this date so I ran with it.

I'm cool with moving the date. Although I'd like to avoid anything for the week of Labour Day since the first week of school is usually a gong show.
Also, I'm just about to propose another, off schedule and kid friendly, meetup for Aug 29.

Sounds good. We could move this Meet Up later into the fall and space them out a bit? I'm not particularly stuck on a Sept date.

So upon further thought let's focus on this ^^ Aug Meet Up for now. We'll skip the Sept pub event and book something at Spinnakers for later in the year.

Oh no, I’m getting like @Stasher and trying to do too many things! You are absolutely right and that’s why I have a calendar I am supposed to check every time.

hahahaha no shit, the worst part of freelance work is I often need to throw a lot of stuff on the wall and see what sticks when all the other world events settle out....intrigued on the Whistler topic now though lol

The Whistler weekend is all about mountain biking the Lord of the Squirrels.

Lord of the Squirrels looks awesome, and is on my list of adventures to do this summer. If you guys have space and want money for the ferry, I could tag along. I plan to ride back to Victoria as it is downhill from Whistler.

I'll probably be driving out from Edmonton on the 20th and 21st so I might be there in time. My life is chaos right now with packing and moving a house, so a pint of cheer overlooking the harbour would be welcome!

But we are having a beach meetup Aug 29 at 4:30pm at Island View Beach. I'd love to see you again! I may be a tad late (closer to 5pm) since I'll need to finish work, collect a Spawn and then collect @snacky and her crew.
