FrugalinTO:
I recognize this isn't the premier city to live inexpensively.

I find that other than rent, if you've got a bicycle, things are cheap. Cheap restaurants, plenty of inexpensive/free events. Inexpensive groceries if done right. Would love to meet some others with similar financial interests.

Myself, I love fixing things and cooking. Would love to learn how to make wine and share more of what I have.

Cheers,

Erich

Hey there,
I live in Mississauga, and I would love to meet up with like-minded individuals. It seems everyone in my area is only concerned with splurging on luxuries and living in cage-like suburban cliques.

Hey,

I'm living in Toronto, and fairly inexpensively at that -- $1200/mo for a 2 bedroom -- though it involves putting up with the odd cockroach and a tiny kitchen.  On the bright side, we have tons of natural light and an awesome view of the CN Tower in the distance.

I'm currently learning how to jar seasonal produce to preserve the harvest for the colder months.  I also subscribe to a CSA that brings me a box of fresh, local produce and a dozen free-range, small-flock eggs every other week.

I'd also like to meet like-minded people, in Toronto or in the GTA (I'm originally from Burlington).

Hi!

I'm new to Toronto and new to the blog.  Would love to meet up with like-minded people who are working towards financial independence.

Best wishes for 2014!
